Local Contracting Company Rises to New Heights in Electrical Construction for yet another year!


IEC National Announces Its 2009 Excellence in

Construction Award Winners

ALEXANDRIA, Va. - The Independent Electrical Contractors, Inc. (IEC National) presented its annual Excellence in Construction Awards to members during the 52nd Annual IEC National Convention and Electric Expo, October 21-24 in St. Louis, Missouri.

"The electrical community is seeing the vast potential of more innovative and efficient designs," said Larry Mullins, IEC National Executive Vice President/CEO. "I would like to congratulate all our members for their outstanding achievements and contributions to our industry."

Awards were presented to IEC contractor members in the following categories: residential construction, commercial construction, industrial construction, low voltage/limited energy and efficient energy/green construction. The winners were as follows:

Efficient Energy/Green: 


LEED Approved Construction
J. Beischel Electric (Cincinnati, Ohio)
Sycamore Township Fire Department Station #93

All submitted nominations for the Awards of Excellence in Electrical Construction are thoroughly reviewed by a panel of judges in the areas of design, implementation, obstacles overcome, creativity, and safety.
